As we continue to honor September 11th this week, the experience of awe I felt being around the Tribute In Light sticks with me to this day. The aura that it emanates every year honoring the heroic first responders, the innocent people who just were going to work, the innocence of life , all lost on that tragic day 22 yrs ago. My prayer for this tribute in light is that it continues to be a form of healing. No one can ever fully heal from this horrible day and can certainly #neverforget but it does bring some kind of light. September 11th should never be forgotten as the years continue on and kids grow up only knowing this day from curriculum. It’s up to us who lived it, who lost family in it, and who were forever changed by it to preserve the true history of this act of terror which then saw so many acts of #bravery and #sacrifice minutes after the attacks. We can only pray that this light each and every year guide us into better days ahead for America. #GodBlessAmerica!
